Lisa McSorley
Graphic Designer and Branding Consultant, Hitchin
“There are three responses to design.
Yes, no or WOW.
WOW is the one to aim for.”
Graphic designer based in Hitchin, I design branding, logo design, business stationery, business cards, brochures, magazines, leaflets, posters, social media posts, adverts for print and web, PowerPoint presentations and more. Clients include international brands Uber, Uber Eats and Logitech as well as local SMA businesses. If it needs designing, I do it.
I work remotely from my home office in Hitchin under the supervision of my nine-year-old three-legged springer spaniel, Wilf.
About me…
I spent the early part of the 90s in Manchester where I studied Graphic Design at Salford University.
I then moved to London to hone my craft as a magazine designer in the glitzy world of 90s print media. It’s possible that if you’ve read any of the following magazines, I designed them.

I was fortunate to work on these brilliant magazines in the heyday of print media with some amazing teams, and have I got some stories to tell!
After choosing a commute-free life, I now work from my office at home in Hitchin with my husband, two teenage kids and dog.
My work now, is diverse – from funky business cards to whizzy PowerPoint presentations and everything and anything in between. I love my life now – in my office, no one asks me to turn my music down.
