Lisa McSorley
Graphic Designer and Branding Consultant, Hitchin
I’m a graphic designer based in Hitchin, I design branding, business stationery, business cards, brochures, magazines, leaflets, posters, social media posts, adverts for print and web, PowerPoint presentations and more. If it needs designing, I do it.
I work remotely from my home office in Hitchin under the supervision of my eight-year-old springer spaniel, Wilf.
About me…
I spent the early part of the 90s in Manchester where I studied Graphic Design at University College Salford.
I then moved to London to hone my craft as a magazine designer in the glitzy world of 90s print media. It’s possible that if you’ve read any of the following magazines, I designed them.

I was fortunate to work on these brilliant magazines in the heyday of print media with some amazing teams, and have I got some stories to tell!
After choosing a commute-free life, I now work from my office at home in Hitchin with my husband, two children and dog.
My work now, is diverse – from funky business cards to whizzy PowerPoint presentations and everything and anything in between. I love my life now – in my office, no one asks me to turn my music down.
My mission
I’m obsessed with helping people make their design dreams a reality, the most exiting part of my job is a new brief. Most people only notice bad design, it’s everywhere! My mission to make the world a lovelier place, one design at a time.
